In Defense of the Sacred

My research centers on conceptions of “the sacred,” and the past couple months have shown me that, in order to defend and protect what is sacred, we have to be able to name with clarity that which is anti-sacred. Nowhere have I seen that distinction expressed more powerfully than in Reverend Dr. Munther Isaac’s Christmas sermon from Bethlehem in December 2023.
